I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the Western Michigan University, where I double majored in Psychology and Criminal Justice. I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with a Specialization in Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My graduate work included training in multiple approaches focusing on the development of sound clinical skills.
I worked in a variety of clinical environments prior to joining Affiliates in Counseling and beginning my private practice including a forensic setting at a Juvenile Detention Center, an inpatient setting with individuals with traumatic brain injuries, and an urban college counseling center. I’ve also worked in several clinical and administrative roles with adults in residential programs and was the program director at a non-profit overseeing child welfare group homes for teenagers.
